My name is Claire and when I left school I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse, I have worked in practice for nearly 20 years and work part time there. I live on our family farm with my husband and 2 children, after Lockdown I decided I wanted to grow flowers in a couple of raised beds in the Orchard on the farm to give to my family and friends (mainly my Gran!) I had an abundance of flowers in so put small bunches of them out on the road with an honesty box, they sold out in 20 minutes and this little business has grown from that day. I now offer a range of bouquets from a small Posy to extra large gift bouquets, I make funeral arrangements, bridal bouquets, bridesmaids bouquets, flower crowns, buttonholes and DIY flower Buckets for weddings and events. At Christmas I hold wreath making workshops and offer ready made wreath alongside wreath making boxes. My season for flowers usually begins at the beginning of April until October (weather dependent).
