Hello: I'm Mingxuan (MX), I am currently flower farming from my garden and my mum's garden in Derbyshire, hoping to make this business work and get a 'real' farm in the not too distant future. This year I have grown just over one hundred varieties from seeds and tubers including sweet peas, poppies, cosmos, dahlias, strawflowers, ammi majus, orlaya, feverfew, larkspur, ranunculus, nigella, achillea millefolium, scabious, cornflowers, zinnia, marigolds and various other flowers and foliage. I was over the moon when my first 'production crop' - sweet peas started to bloom late May and looks like poppies and strawflowers are going next with plenty of buds; I'm also working towards my RHS level 2 qualification, hoping to gain enough knowledge to look after my future farm properly when I do get it. It has been a steep learning curve and I'm physically exhausted on most days, but I LOVE it ! It is a wonderful community to be part of, I look forward to meeting you all. Best, Mingxuan (MX)
