Hi, I'm Meg, and I run Midnight Rose from my home studio in Sunny Staffordshire. Sustainability, integrity and caring for the environment are at the heart of all the decisions I make for my small business, and this encompasses how I grow too. I am in my first 'proper' year as a business but have been practicing my craft and growing since 2022. With an Arts background, everything I create is treated much like a piece of Art, only flowers are my chosen medium :) I have worked many weddings over the years, and on photoshoots/ fashion and film in my previous career and feel this has all influenced my style and approach. My style is whimsical and wild, and I currently offer gift bouquets, market bouquets, wedding and special occasion services. I am currently working hard in the background to expand my services to also provide farewell flowers in the near future. I work with British Flowers*, capturing the magic of the seasons; home grown, or grown locally by other fantastic growers wherever possible. I do source UK-wide where necessary, particularly through Winter, but always British grown currently.* I will be offering workshops this year, utilising my previous skills as an educator. My favourite flowers to grow are Roses. They bring so much joy and I think they really elevate an arrangement, but I really do love growing and arranging with all flowers, foliage, herbs and grasses :) My favourite moment is the look on someone's face when they receive their arrangements, especially when they mention they haven't seen flowers like them before (that's always special and a nod to the magic of wonderful seasonal flowers).
