I love growing flowers and have been doing it for friends and neighbours since 2019, starting with our daughter’s wedding. She chose the colour theme and I wanted an abundance of flowers in the church and reception and the only way was to grow them myself on a new patch of ground. The daughter and her husband have started a wedding venue on the farm and I think it’s time we offered wedding couples the opportunity to purchase wedding flowers from us I grow perennials in raised beds and annuals in my veg patch - all in ordinary garden soil Flowers from the farm was recommended to me by a flower arranger. I think FFTF is a very important way of promoting sustainably grown flowers
