Based on what was once Rachel’s Grandfathers farm, now a 24 acre small holding with just two acres currently turned over to flowers and foliage nestled amongst our North Yorkshire glamping site. Lavender With plans afoot for growing the site, the 2025 season saw plans start to evolve with our lavender, crossing our fingers it gets through its first winter and into Spring 2026! We planted 450 Lavender Hidcote plants by hand in Spring 2025 and 200 Zinnia's planted in one of the hottest years in recent seasons! It wasn’t an easy planting or growing year and we learnt a lot! Providing the growth of our first plants goes well a further 600 plants are planned to go in for the Spring of 2026 making the site home to over 1000 lavender plants. Zinnia’s Our 2025 Zinnia plants struggled in the heat but we look forward to a new season ahead in 2026, a multi coloured spectacle. Varieties to be confirmed. Daffodils In winter 2025 we planted almost 4,000 special varieties of daffodils which we expect to see in March 2026. Varieties include: • Sir Winston Churchill • Tahiti • Apricot whirl • Fragrant Spring • Narcissus Replete Willow We also have some new willow that is growing nicely and we will keep everyone posted on availability.
