DESCRIPTION:Come and spend a couple of happy hours at the flower farm learning all my tips and techniques for germinating seeds and propagating from cuttings in order to produce strong and healthy seedlings for your garden or allotment. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners but will also benefit gardeners with some horticultural experience. We will explore the many methods I have tried and I will advise you on the benefits of each. You will go home with seed trays and cuttings ready to burst into life. \nTopics covered include:\nsetting up your propagation area \nsowing seeds at the right times to ensure good germination and healthy growth \npricking out \nhardening off \ndealing with pests and diseases \ntaking cuttings \nAs always\, there will be plenty of time to ask questions\, explore the cutting garden at this early stage in the year and enjoy freshly made cake\, tea and coffee.
